The Creator (YOD)

YOD is the tenth letter of the Hebrew langauge representing God's divine hand and His will in action. God created the heavens and the earth through his providential hand. The Word "yadah" means "to see" and "to know intimately" through perception and knowledge The yod is the smallest of all the letters manifesting His greatness in all of His creation. His choosing of Israel is expressing this truth as they were the least among the peoples of the earth. "I did not choose you because you were the greatest but because you were the fewest and because I loved you and would keep my sworn oath to your forefathers." (Deut 7:7).

No man is without excuse in unbelief because God has revealed Himself in his creation and handiwork. The hand and arm of the Lord is the means in which all things were created. The work of redemption was the eternal purpose which He purposed in His Son.

"And the angel which I saw standing on the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven and swore by Him that liveth forever and ever who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things that therein are, that there should be time no longer." Rev 10:5-6.
